Near the outskirts of Santa Cruz, CA, is the gorgeous and hidden gem that is Panther Beach. The water is as blue-green as any and the scenery is gorgeous. It actually looks a lot like the beach from Inception’s “limbo” scenes (minus the tumbling buildings).
Yes, that is the Pacific Ocean behind that archway there.
Trust me, this looks even better in person.
…I heard cool guys don’t look at explosions.
Not bad, California, not bad.
A sweet archway opening inside a cliff that leads to the Ocean.
Beautiful day at the beach
The waters are as blue here as any beach.
This area is very Inception like with its ocean-side cliffs.
Great for getting your feet wet.
When an immovable object meets an incredibly powerful moving force.
Back in college I had the opportunity to backpack around England/London. Here are some pics from my journey:
King Tut exhibit
Inside the London National Gallery. Even indoors, you kind of feel like your outside.
Awesome library. Kind of reminds me of the one in Beauty and the Beast.
The Rosetta Stone. Epic.
I took a picture of this kid because I thought it represented how I felt about roaming through the streets of London by myself…lost.
London National Gallery
All my funds were pretty depleted by the time I got to London so I just bummed around ghetto $8-a-night hostels. It was pretty cool though because I got to meet young travelers from all over the world and we went around the city checking out random stuff. That kind of human interaction isn’t shared in America, unfortunately.
Trafalgar Square. Not sure what that orange stuff was but everybody here always seemed to have a good time.
Cool shot of Big Ben.
Up close and personal with Victoria tower.
Backside of England’s Parliament from a pretty sweet park.
Westminster Abbey has “flying buttresses.”
More flying butts.
Goin’ for the “send me a postcard” photo.
The weather in London is very weird. One minute the weather could be bright and cheery, the next second it could be cloudy and rainy, and then back to clear skies again.
I tried antagonizing the Buckingham Palace guards to see if I could break their attention, but they were pretty hardcore. I’m 99% sure they’re robots from outer space, or even worse…Canada.

Memorial for all those who died during the Great War
Monument for those who died during the Great War.
Triumphal arch – built to honor a military victory
Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress (Tower of London) – contains the Crown Jewels.
Her Majesty’s Royal Palace
Attended a Catholic service in Westminster Abbey. They said “no photos” but I snuck one in after everybody left. I’m such a friggin’ bad ass.
Outline of Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress – with multiple archer towers and a moat, this would be one tough castle to penetrate.
…Plus, I hear there used to be dragons.
